There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man. ~ Sir Winston Churchill

Huckleberry Finn (AKA Huck) He's a 12 year old Shetland pony mix. He came to us a bit shy, but now he's feeling much more comfortable with us. Huck and Freedom have become the best of buddies. The younger boys plan to show him in 4-H. We will also be training Huck to pull a cart in the near future.

Playboys Lucky Sen Freedom  (AKA Freedom) came to us in July 2009. We adopted him from a home in Ohio. He was originally from Bob Evans Farms in Rio Grande, OH. He is a 17 year old, American Quarter horse and was at one time registered with the AQHA. His Dam was Six Pence Senbar and his Sire is Feckles Playtime. He has been shown in the Wayne County Horse Show as well as some costume class shows locally. He is a wonderful, laid back, kid broke gelding. We love him and are so lucky to have him!

Below is Jim taking our newest addition, Blaze the Trails (Blaze) for his first ride here on the farm. We took in Blaze as a rescue from Blaine, KY. He is a 10 year old, Arabian/ Quarter horse mix. We don't know much on his background but after his first ride, we found him to be a calm, rideable trail horse. We plan on working with him on better ground manners. Blaze gets along with Freedom and Huck well as long as he's the boss.

Freedom and Blaze...best buds....on one of the trails on the farm.
